Choose type → Add content → Design & publish
- 1. Choose typeUse the category filters, select an available QR type, then choose Static or Dynamic where supported. Type availability and paid features depend on your plan and administrator settings.
- 2. Add contentFill in the required fields and check the live preview. Dynamic pages use the available default layouts and appearance controls; a custom landing-page builder is not currently available.
- 3. Design & publishUse Frame, Shape, Corners, Logo, Templates and Security. Static codes are download-only. Publish a dynamic code before its PNG/SVG downloads unlock.
Use Next to validate each stage; the step bar cannot skip unfinished stages. Going back preserves your work on this page. Changing type prompts for a reset only after you have modified the content.
After publishing, open My QR codes: search, filter, switch Grid/List, and open Edit. Content Payload and Appearance change the hosted page; QR Matrix & Frames changes the code artwork. Save updates and test the existing printed code. Static downloads do not appear in this library or scan analytics.
The public tools combine content and styling on one workspace. The three-stage navigation above describes the signed-in dashboard, not the scanner or the standalone barcode tool.
Quick Guide: How to Use the QR Design Panel in 5 Tabs
- Tab 1 (Frame): Choose a frame badge (Pill Banner, Top Header, Minimal), enter an actionable Call-to-Action text (e.g., SCAN ME or VIEW MENU), and customize font family and frame color.
- Tab 2 (Shape & Colors): Pick from 19 pattern module styles (Rounded, Dots, Classy, Drops, Diamond), set foreground/background colors, or activate two-tone gradient fills.
- Tab 3 (Corners): Customize Outer Eye frames (14 border styles) and Inner Pupil dots (18 center styles) with independent color codes.
- Tab 4 (Logo): Select from 22 preset social/business icons or upload your custom transparent PNG/SVG logo with automatic Reed-Solomon Level H (30%) protection.
- Tab 5 (Templates): Apply instant 1-click pre-made designer templates for business, social media, and hospitality campaigns.
Standard black-and-white QR codes are visually boring and often ignored. Studies prove that custom-branded QR codes increase scan conversion rates by up to 150% compared to generic monochrome matrices. However, poorly designed QR codes fail to scan if color contrast falls below optical readability standards or if logos obscure critical data modules. In this complete walkthrough, we explore every feature of our comprehensive Step 2 Design Panel so you can create stunning, on-brand QR codes that scan flawlessly on any device.
1. Frame Styling & Action-Driven CTAs (Tab 1: Frame)
The frame is the visual container surrounding your QR matrix. It immediately tells scanners why they should point their camera at your code. Without a clear call to action, scan rates plummet by up to 60%.

How to Configure Frame Elements:
1. Choose Your Frame Style
Select from 7 distinct frame layouts: Clean (borderless, modern minimal), Pill Banner (rounded CTA pill below matrix), Bottom Banner (solid rectangular base card), Top Header (headline banner above matrix), Minimal (thin elegant outline), Circular (round badge frame), or Shopping Bag (e-commerce retail badge).
2. Customize the Call-to-Action Text
In the Call-to-Action Text field, enter up to 25 characters. Replace generic phrases with high-intent verbs: "SCAN FOR 20% OFF", "CONNECT TO WI-FI", "SAVE MY CONTACT", or "VIEW DINNER MENU".
3. Select Typography & Frame Palette
Pick a typeface that matches your brand personality: Sans-Serif Standard, Plus Jakarta Sans, Inter Clean, Monospace Code, or Serif Elegant. Use the interactive color picker or type an exact hexadecimal value (e.g., #0F172A) to match your corporate brand guidelines.
2. Dot Module Shapes, Gradients & Colors (Tab 2: Shape)
By default, QR codes use rigid square modules. Our studio lets you transform these data cells into 19 creative geometric shapes while preserving optical alignment.

Module Shape Options & Best Use Cases:
- Classy Rounded & Extra Rounded: Soft, curved module edges ideal for lifestyle apps, tech startups, and premium consumer goods.
- Fluid Organic Drops: Elegant teardrop geometry designed for beauty, skincare, beverages, and organic food packaging.
- Diamond & Star Patterns: Sharp geometric luxury styling engineered for fashion lookbooks, jewelry tags, and event credentials.
- Standard Square Grid: High-density industrial precision recommended for warehousing, logistics, and high-distance billboard scanning.
Color Customization & Gradient Engine:
Under the Colors & Gradients section, customize your foreground dots and canvas background:
- Solid Foreground: Specify an exact HEX code for your primary brand accent.
- Two-Color Linear Gradient: Check "Use gradient?" to blend two harmonious colors across your matrix (e.g., corporate deep navy transitioning to vibrant teal).
- Transparent Background: Check "Transparent background?" to remove the white canvas, allowing you to overlay your QR code seamlessly onto packaging, flyers, or dark marketing collateral.
Use dark modules on a light, plain background and retain the quiet zone. A text-accessibility contrast ratio is not a QR scan certification. Test the exported file and a physical proof on more than one phone, especially after changing colors, shapes or logos.
3. Corner Eye Shapes & Multi-Tone Pupil Styling (Tab 3: Corners)
The three large squares in the corners are called Position Detection Patterns (Finder Patterns). Mobile camera lenses lock onto these three corners to calculate tilt, rotation, and distance before decoding. Our design panel allows independent customization of both the outer frame and the inner pupil dot.

Border Style (Outer Eye) - 14 Designs
Choose from square, rounded rectangle, circular, leaf, shield, octagon, or squircle borders. Match the outer eye geometry to your company logo or app icon container shape.
Center Style (Inner Pupil) - 18 Designs
Style the inner pupil with solid squares, circles, diamonds, stars, plus signs, teardrops, or flower dots. Assign independent color codes to make the center pupils pop.
4. Brand Logo Integration & 22 Preset Icons (Tab 4: Logo)
Embedding your company logo builds immediate consumer trust and confirms that the code points to an official destination.

Two Ways to Add Your Brand Mark:
Method A: Select from 22 Built-in Preset Icons
If your QR code connects to a social channel, communication line, or payment gateway, click any of our 22 built-in SVG icons: WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, LinkedIn, Wi-Fi, UPI Pay, PayPal, Bitcoin, Shop Cart, Camera, Location, Email, Web Link, Play Video, Food Menu, vCard, Rocket, QR Scan, Info, or Support Chat.
Method B: Upload Your Custom PNG / SVG File
Click the Upload custom logo dropzone to select your company artwork (supports PNG, SVG, JPG up to 2MB). Our system automatically places the logo in the optical dead center and applies a subtle circular white safety margin to keep neighboring data pixels isolated.
Automatic Error Correction Protection (Level H - 30%)
Keep the logo small and clear of finder patterns and alignment marks. Check the Security tab for error correction; Level H improves resilience but does not guarantee recovery from a logo covering 30% of the image. Test the final export at the intended print size.
5. One-Click Designer Presets (Tab 5: Templates)
Need a professionally styled QR code in seconds? Switch to the Templates tab to choose from pre-curated color palettes and shape combinations:
